The ServSafe® program provides food safety training, exams, and educational materials to food service managers. Individuals can earn the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP), which is valid for five years, and recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The program blends the latest FDA Food Code, food safety research, and years of food sanitation training experience. Managers learn to implement essential food safety practices and create a culture of food safety. All content and materials are based on actual job tasks identified by food service industry experts. Participants who pass the exam will receive their industry-wide acknowledged ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
Through a third-party vendor, and in partnerships with PRLA, ServSafe training classes are held regularly throughout the Pennsylvania.
Class Options
Through the program administrator HR Food Safe, offers several class options to ensure you and your staff have convenient certification options. The Live-Class option runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All tests must be taken at a class location, as required by law.
Private classes for 10 or more students available to come to you! Day, night, or weekend, we (HR Food Safe) can work with your schedule.
